Grain Free - Gluten Free - Dairy Free - A protein packed option for a dessert or snack. These are loaded with fiber and protein from garbonzo beans, healthy fats from cashew butter and low in sugar, as they utilize coconut nectar which is low on the GI index. The secret ingredient in these is ginger, which is a natural remedy to aid digestion and inflammation.

  • 1 can garbonzo beans rinsed
  • 1/4 th cup applesauce
  • 1/4 th cup cashew butter
  • 1/8 th cup syrup
  • 1/8 th cup coconut nectar
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil melted
  • 1/4 th cup of chopped macadamia nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Add everything besides the chopped macadamia nuts in a food processor and blend until smooth
  3. Pour macadamia nuts in and mix to combine
  4. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper or spray with coconut oil
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 30-35 minutes depending on your gooey-ness liking.
